Titanium Grade 4 Pipes (UNS R50700/DIN 3.7065) are made of about 99% titanium with minor impurities of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon, hydrogen, and iron, adding strength without sacrificing corrosion resistance. They possess remarkable mechanical properties, such as tensile strength of ca. 550 MPa, yield strength of 480 MPa, and elongation of 15%, offering strength along with ductility. With a low density of 4.43 g/cm³, they possess a very high strength-to-weight ratio along with superior oxidation resistance and aggressive environment resistance, making them appropriate for industrial applications requiring high performance and high stress.
