Titanium Grade 12 Pipes (Ti UNS R53400 / Ti-0.3Mo-0.8Ni / DIN 3.7105) have roughly 0.3% molybdenum, 0.8% nickel, and the remainder titanium, with minor elements of iron (max 0.25%) and oxygen (max 0.15%). These alloying elements greatly enhance corrosion resistance in reducing acids and chloride media. Mechanical properties are tensile strength ~550 MPa, yield strength ~275 MPa, and elongation ~20%, with a density of 4.43 g/cm³.
