Phosphorous bronze sheets and plates are copper alloys, containing 0.5–11% tin and 0.01–0.35% phosphorus. Tin increases strength, corrosion resistance and wear, while phosphorus increases stability and reduces friction. These sheets exhibit excellent mechanical properties such as high tensile strength, good elasticity and fatigue resistance.
