Titanium Grade 2 plates and sheets are made from 99.2% pure titanium, with small quantities of iron (0.3%) and oxygen (0.25%) that add strength and toughness. They provide balanced mechanical properties with 344 MPa tensile strength, 275 MPa yield strength, and approximately 20% elongation, making them highly ductile. Superior corrosion resistance, high strength-to-weight ratio, and very good weldability make them versatile for fabrication.
