Titanium Grade 2 Forged Fittings consist of about 99% pure titanium with trace amounts of iron (≤0.3%), oxygen (≤0.25%), carbon, nitrogen, and hydrogen. Their composition offers them excellent resistance to corrosion in marine and chemical environments. Mechanical properties are a tensile strength of about 345 MPa, yield strength of 275 MPa, and elongation of up to 20%, providing excellent ductility and durability. With their light weight, excellent weldability, and biocompatibility, these fittings can be used where strength, resistance to aggressive conditions, and long service life are demanded.
