Titanium Grade 5 Nuts consist of about 90% titanium, 5.5–6.75% aluminum, and 3.5–4.5% vanadium. The Ti-6Al-4V alloy is renowned for its tensile strength (up to 140 ksi / 965 MPa) and yield strength (828 MPa), with great fatigue resistance and thermal stability at high temperatures up to 400°C. Besides being more corrosion resistant, the alloy is low in density, offering strength without weight gain. These combined properties make Titanium Gr 5 Nuts perfect for applications that require ruggedness, resistance to oxidation, and sound performance in very demanding working environments.
