AWS Class ERNiCu-7 MIG and TIG filler wires and rods, made in Da Nang, Vietnam, are high-performance consumables for welding nickel-copper alloys and joining these alloys to steel. They offer excellent resistance to seawater corrosion, stress corrosion cracking, and erosion. This makes them suitable for marine and chemical uses. Nickel gives resistance to stress corrosion and adds strength, while copper provides toughness and resistance to seawater. Weld deposits typically reach a tensile strength of about 480–550 MPa, with excellent ductility and toughness. These consumables remain stable under changing thermal conditions and resist scaling and oxidation. Their balanced composition guarantees reliable welds in dissimilar metal joints and corrosion-resistant applications across marine, power, and chemical industries.
