ERCuNi wires and rods mainly consist of copper (about 65–70%) and nickel (30–35%), along with small amounts of iron and manganese for better mechanical properties. This composition provides resistance to seawater, stress corrosion, and erosion. Weld deposits typically reach tensile strength between 380–480 MPa with great flexibility and toughness. These materials maintain stability at higher temperatures and resist localized corrosion in chloride-rich environments.
