Nitinol Shape Memory Sheets and Plates consist mostly of nickel (55–60%) and titanium (40–45%), creating a distinctive alloy with superior functional properties. Their crystalline nature makes them capable of shape memory and superelasticity, allowing recovery upon deformation upon heating. Nickel also contributes to biocompatibility, while titanium improves strength and resistance to corrosion. Mechanical properties are tensile strength 550–800 MPa, elongation of 10% maximum, and very good fatigue resistance. Additionally, the transformation temperature can be tailored for specific applications, making these sheets and plates versatile across multiple industries requiring reliability and precision.
