Super Duplex Steel Bars S32760 contain mostly chromium (24–26%), nickel (6–8%), molybdenum (3–5%), nitrogen, and traces of manganese and copper. Such a blend offers improved corrosion resistance and mechanical properties. The standard mechanical properties are a tensile strength of approximately 750 MPa, yield strength of 550 MPa, and elongation of 25%. The bars also possess high toughness and weldability, as well as better resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking. These characteristics make S32760 extremely dependable in severe conditions where common stainless steels break down.
