Alloy C263 Foil is a nickel-cobalt-chromium-molybdenum superalloy designed with higher high-temperature strength and corrosion resistance. Its normal composition is around 20% chromium, 20% cobalt, 5.9% molybdenum, and nickel balance, with small additions of such elements as titanium and aluminum for precipitation hardening. It has high tensile strength, excellent ductility, and excellent creep resistance above 800°C. Its mechanical properties are thermally cycle stable and suited best to uses where long life and structural integrity are needed. These traits make Alloy C263 Foil a suitable substance for precision-engineered, heat-tolerant components.
