Nitinol Superelastic Tube is a nickel-titanium alloy with standard composition of 55% nickel and 45% titanium. This special alloy is superelastic in nature—capable of sustaining large deformations and returning to its original form after stress relief. It has excellent flexibility, high corrosion resistance, biocompatibility, and fatigue resistance. Nitinol’s low elastic modulus facilitates superior recovery after strain, even under rigorous bending.
